Our range has always prided itself on teas that may make the familiar unfamiliar by way of the unique approach we have to mixing ingredients. Here we take one a couple of roots that are used the world over and use them with imagination in order to draw out exciting new sensations, so whoever drinks should really expect the unexpected.

Ginger is one of the staples of cooking from east to west, whether it is used to season chicken or add flavour to cakes and biscuits. It has a heavenly tang that makes it particularly suitable for confectionery but this is not the only thing it has going for it. In addition to bringing relief to anybody who is feeling groggy from a heavy cold ginger also helps with muscle and joint pain, and is a great 'all rounder' tonic.

What is usually brewed with ginger? Lemon is the most common 'partner', as you find in the bulk of major brands of herbal tea. But we have made a point of recasting ginger in a context that is as stimulating as it is surprising. Here it is combined with turmeric, a herb much prized for its ability to reduce stress levels and foster that all important good night's sleep, as well as its general effectiveness in helping the body to fight a bothersome common cold. Turmeric has a slightly bitter taste and musky aroma that will be familiar to curry lovers. Indeed it pairs well with cardamom, found in cuisines around the world, particularly India and the Middle East, and is largely thought to have a positive impact on daily well being, reducing blood pressure and improving respiratory function. The final ingredients used in the blend also provide health benefits as well as an excellent experience for the taste buds. Stevia, which is extracted from the rebaudiana plant found in South America is a natural sweetener while Black Pepper has a sharp bitter kick that can clear the head in an instant.
