Callaloo is a green leafy vegetable that thrives in the Caribbean and other tropical countries. They can either be steamed or stewed, either way the Callaloo is just as delicious eaten raw.
Please note Callaloo dries very quickly so expect some of the leaves to be dried out.

Arrived fresh and well packed in a pouch with ice to keep its freshness.
Third time I’m buying the first two times I boiled it drained and had it as a salad with a bit of olive oil and wine vinegar. This time I will make a pie with it.

I cooked this down with salt fish and some hard food oh and fry dumplings for the kids, empty plates all round. A big thank you to the nice lady that spoke to me about the delay with the callaloo much appreciated.
